Bored Legs Syndrome

Postby action jackson on Mon Nov 17, 2008 8:11 pm

Ok, here is the deal. I ran 8 with Ginny and Vicki on Saturday. Everytime I run long on the Trace, afterwards, my legs feel, well, fatigued. If I run the same distance near my house, which is hilly, my legs feel just fine. I have to work a little harder on the hills, but my legs seem to adjust and actually feel good. I think, and this is my theory, my legs get "bored" with the flatter stuff. I think, that this is why my race times on hills vs. flat are fairly close, and sometimes, my times are actually better. So, I am pretty sure, I have "Bored Legs Syndrome" and I know there are other people who suffer from this, aren't there? Okay, so maybe tonight, I have a little too much time on my hands. I am sick, and yes, I do need help!! Run on, Run STrong!!
Catch you on the run!! Audrey
