Becky's schedule

Postby ryderruns on Wed Jul 25, 2007 7:18 pm

Hey! It's nice to know that such an elite runner has chosen to follow some of my training advice. The Tuesday numbers are down. I hope it's this nearly constant Tuesday afternoon thunderstorms or threat of storms. We do have 5-7 new people (non Pacers) who have been very faithful about attending and trying to follow the daily program. I'll try to get around to posting a report. I'm two weeks behind.

Have jury duty this week so I had tio get my workout in early today. WU then 2x400,1x800,2x400,1x800, 2x400, with 1/2 as much break between repeats and CD. It kicked my fanny pretty good.

What's up with the jury duty this week. I have to start calling tonight for the whole month of August concerning jury duty. In the past, jury duty was not a problem but now I am a one person business owner and can not serve for a month. I do realize that many times you do not get on a jury, but I am nervous. I will hope for the best. Good Luck with your service.

Thursday Am- 5 miles- I had one of Beckys "save the workout" I just could not get going. My long runs for the next 4 weeks are going to be tough because I'm going to Orange Beach every weekend. I am going to try a workout I did several years ago where I cover my long run milage + 2miles in 3 workouts over a 24 hour period. I know its not the best plan but it will make my legs a little weary.
Thursday Lunch- 5 miles. easy pace, 8:30/m
