Postby ryderruns on Sat Aug 08, 2009 12:01 pm

The entry form for Labor Your Legs 5K is now available on the Pacer website at www.pinebeltpacers.org I will also have entry forms to distribute at tomorrow's meeting and at Trek the Trace. Bring your checkbook and give me your entry and you'll save on postage.

The shirts will once again be the "technical" type and will be navy with red and white trim. Register early so you will be sure to get one.

WOW ~ this is so exciting! Hopefully, we will have record attendance this year at such a wonderful and fun event.

Thank you Debrah for being so willing to represent the PBP on Midday tomorrow. We will be watching your smiling face.

Thanks to everyone from the club who worked hard today and in the days leading up to the race to make the Labor Your Legs such a well organized event. Speaking as a participant, the best races for me are those that allow me to focus on the run without having to think about anything else ("Which way do we go?" "I wonder how far we've gone?" etc.) and this continues to be an event of that type. I really, really appreciate the time and effort you all put forth (much of it early in the a.m. on a holiday) to make this event happen year after year!

I totally agree with Sheryl. Great RACE! I know MANY people helped with the race, but a special thanks to the Barrett's and the Ryder's for the great organization and getting the volunteers in the right place.

Great leaders, great race, great volunteers. Good Job! Well done again!

You are amazing!

You are amazing! I mean all of you who worked so hard to make today's event the best of our ten years of putting it on. There are so many improtant jobs that all came together to make for a very successful race.

As Keith and I turn over the event to new co-directors, I hope that all of you will continue in your same jobs. That's what makes for a well run race---getting a group of people who are expereinced and enthusiastic. You should all take pride in a job well-done.

Thanks to each and every one of you who worked on the event.

Christy Turner is working on typing the results and when she has that done (it is quite an undertaking) they will be posted to the website.

Thanks So Much 4 all the GREAT volunteers, you really made the event special. I will NOT EVEN attempt to start naming people but you all played a very important role. I also THANK all the great SPONSORS for helping us raise somewhere around $3,500.00 to support MDA. Last but certainly not least THANK YOU 2 all the folks (as we say in South Missippippi) for your participation in the 5K Run/Walk/1Mile Fun Run.
