Mountain Bike Trails near the Trace

Postby ryderruns on Mon Jan 19, 2009 12:29 am

The following was recently posted on the myhattiesburg forum:

There's a group of folks building a small network of mountain bike trails just west of the Jackson Station on the Long Leaf Trace. If you like getting dirty or are board with the straight and flat trace check out our trails. They're a little muddy right now so you're gonna get dirty. Check out www.msmtb.org forums for more info.

The person who posted it said that it is OK to be used by runners and walkers. We need to organize a club trail run. Anyone interested in heading up such an event? I know that Robin has run those trails, but he is so busy with his coaching, family, etc that I don't know if he would be willing to do that. I'll ask.
