November 6 Track on Tap

Postby ryderruns on Tue Nov 04, 2008 3:29 pm

I just noticed that according to our club calendar and the upcoming events section on the web site---we have a Track on Tap scheduled for Thursday, November 6. Is this a go? If so, what are the details?

In place of the Track on Tap, we consolidated this with the Halloween run. This way, I could squeeze in a meeting for Hobble then Gobble. We had talked about this with Vicki, and she was ok with this, but I guess we didn't put the word out, so my fault. But, we can always get in a run at Andy's if everyone would like to do that, it would work for me!! There are numerous places to run around that area. We can "Tap the Track" at Andy's apt. too!! Thanks Becky for being observant and catching my blunder.
Catch you on the run!! Audrey

I live in the neighborhood behind Anatomies (The Trace) so we could run from Andy's to my house for a beer stop. It would be about 2 miles from Andy's to my house so that would give us a 4 mile run. If the interest were there, we could run farther by running down some of the other roads in the neighborhood.

If we were to do that would we still start at 6:00 p.m. at Andy's? It will be kind of dark at that time and there aren't many street lights in the neighborhood.

Thank You

A huge thank you to all of you who were at last night's meeting. I really do appreciate the celebration of my BD, but remember this is it---I am going to stay this age. It's old enough; anything higher is just too hard to tolerate.

Thanks to all!
