I am sure this is ok with Frank B. and is definitely good with us. Jennifer was planning on only doing the racewalk (no running), so it would be great to have Susan on our team because we need another runner. Nestor will bring us that veteran leadership that will push our team to the top.
We will not be able to come on Friday evening due to distance, will arrive early Saturday morning and help. We are all excited about this, especially Bo, we know that we are going to have a great time.

Wow! This is a SuperTeam. You mean "Masters".... in winning the top places 1-2-3 in all the events. 8)
I guess we will be fighting to get some points for fourth to sixth place in each race!

It sounds good to me! It's a deal! :D

"FRABORAY - RAUJENSUS" to the top!!!

Jennifer and Susan could also throw the ball and try the standing jump. It does not matter how hard you throw or jump.... the team will receive 2 extra points for each try!

Thanks everyone for participating in this fun, exciting, and exhausting event!! I will write a more detailed race report, (and so can all of you). Congrats to the Bulls, for first place. Those young runners really, really, make me feel my age!! I know this, I am struggling to recover!! I will have to admit that I just don't recover as quickly anymore. Running every event, (as most of the women did), just wore me out. I don't have any injuries, I just feel well, as my patients tell me, "stoved up"!! I probably need to do an ice bath. I took a long nap, but I still don't feel much like moving. That 4x400 relay is really a killer. I literally felt fairly strong until the last 200, then, a monkey jumped on my back. A 200 pound monkey!! Anyway, I have permission from my mentor Terry, to use this event as my run today. I have no inclination to add any miles today, of any nature, running, or walking. Oh, and speaking of walking? Nestor, you can keep that race walk thingie. Race walking is much more difficult than running. And Nestor? You have got to quit diving off bikes, and for finish lines. Seriously, I hope you don't hurt too badly, you have some serious road rash from that fall!!

Just to finish on a happy note, it was great seeing everyone!! I am truly glad we decided to do this. Next year, we will put more planning into this and it will be even more exciting!!
Catch you on the run!! Audrey

Our family really enjoyed the event today, like we had mentioned earlier this is a great family event that we enjoy each year. We are always proud of Bo, however; today our daughter Ashlyn gave us a surprise when she wanted to walk the kid's race. She is just coming back from her third kidney surgery less than a month ago, after she was released three day's later we had to rush her back to Jackson by ambulance with complications. She has bounced back and doing great, we were thrilled to see her particpate and enjoy the day. Thanks from our family to all the sponsors and the leaders of our club that made this event happen.Nestor, take care of that injury.

Hi Ray, glad to hear Ashlyn is doing good and recovering fast. I had a great in the relays participating with all your family, Frank and Susan.
We ran fast, we jumped high, and we threw the ball hard!! it was in fact a solid team effort on our part!

We all had a fantastic experience and hope to run the race again next year -- Thanks to Charles, Audrey, Anita, Jennifer, Scott, Susan, and all other people who volunteered and/or organized the event. In fact, we should do it once every two months!! - It's a lot of fun!

The results will be posted today in the PBP website. The final standings were as follows:

1. The Bulls, 102 points
2. All Masters & Baby Jim, 101 points
3. Belles & Whistles, 85 points
4. Leftovers, 71 points
5. The Pirates, 52 points

I am doing fine, still sore everywhere, but.... I will survive! -- I promise to never again try to pick a coin for my 50 state quarter collection right there at the end of a 4x100 race. It can be a little painful!
