My tapering continues. Last night, taught a somewhat scaled back spin class for 45 minutes. This morning, an easy 5 miles. I will enjoy going home after work or at least doing something of my choosing other than working out. Smile

This week - 2 spin classes - two runs of 4 miles and 5 miles.

Tomorrow, hopefully doing the 20k at the MS 50.

Yesterday, 20k, or a little over 12 miles at the MS Trail Run. Great time and a great workout on top of it.

Today, 3 easy miles to get out and enjoy the sunshine and visit with Vicki. She's been sick so this was to help her get back into it after that as well.

this morning, 5 miles before work. after work, taught a great spin class. had 3 new people, so i had to find a way to give them, and myself, a great workout without killing them in their first attempt. it was a lot of fun. after class, i did a good ab workout and a little stretching.

5 miles after at a good quick pace (for me). Then went to the gym to do some weights. Still taking it easy since I'm just getting back into it after a few months not doing it.

It's great that Joni is back into running with the old gang. A week ago I saw her at the Trace running with Jodi Lee. Now, we just have to get her back to Track on Tap. We need her to make some more shirts for the new people.

Last night, spin class followed by some weight lifting.

Taught spin this morning before work, then hit the billboards on 59 after work with Jim, Jerry, and Brett. They did 4, but I only did 3. Times were 7:18, 6:59, and 7:30. Got in 5 total miles. TOUGH workout, but a good one.

Ran the St. Thomas 5k yesterday in a time of 24:22. It was my return to the 5k after about a year, and I am ok with the time. It's not a PR, but it's the best 5k time I've turned out in a couple of years.

I haven't run very well in the last few weeks, since New Orleans. I'm not sure what the deal is especially since I feel like I'm in better shape than I ever have been. I will take today off since I'm going to my parent's.

After a few days off due to a stomach virus, I was able to get back to some kind of workouts today. Started out with 45 minutes on the bike then did some abs and upper body weights. Despite having not eaten much since Sunday lunch (until today), I felt pretty good. I will give running a shot in the morning.

attempted a run today. it went well, but i was very tired at the end. 4 miles with vicki. tonight, pushed it even further by teaching spin class. i could tell it has been a week and i had an illness in the middle of it.

been a tough go of it lately, but i'm working to find my motivation again. ended up running the billboards on saturday for about 5.5 miles total, 3 laps on the billboards.

back at it today with teaching a really good spin class, followed by a good 5 miles. my breathing sucked, but the legs started feeling like they had something in them.
