T-shirts for Wounded Warriors

Postby jcoll on Tue Nov 11, 2008 10:00 am

I plan to be at the track tonight if anyone has t-shirts they would like to donate. (See the front page of the web site for more info.)

Sorry, but it appears I will be unable to make it to the track tonight as I had originally planned. If you brought t-shirts and were unable to deliver them to me as a result, please let me know and I'll come to you and pick them up.

A few more details on the project. They are specifically looking for new t-shirts. I don't think it is an issue if the shirts have been worn once or twice, however.

I'll be making a trip to Jackson to deliver them late next week. They are trying to get a shipment of shirts together and delivered to the wounded soldiers prior to Christmas.

Thank you for your participation in this worthwhile project.

I definitely have some new short sleeve blank tees to donate. Do you know if they want long sleeve too?

I am not 100% sure, but the Sec. of State's office seemed to be pretty specific about what they wanted when I called yesterday. What I plan to do is bring what I have to them (older shirts included), let them decide what they want, and if they don't want all the shirts bring the remainder to another worthy cause.

Jim, I want to get some shirts to you before you head to Jackson. When will you be leaving to go there? Also, THANKS for your effort for such a GREAT project! I challenge ALL triathletes to donate atleast 10 shirts to this cause! 10, minimum! Ben Hughes
