Hollie and I went to this race so that we could watch Landry while Kim, Robin and Tate ran. It was a hoot! It was raining the entire morning and continued throughout the event. It lived up to it's name as the course was very muddy and there were places where they had to swim or walk through water for quite a distance. When you look at the times, you must consider the conditions and realize that this was no ordinary 4-mile race.
Tate (8 years old) ran with his Mom and it was really neat to watch them and recall how Robin used to do such things when he was that age. I think Robin did his first bi-athlon when he was about that age. It was a swim/run event. Tate seemed to have a lot of fun! He and his Mom finished in good condition. They don't have all the results posted, so I can't give you their time,
Here are basic results for some Pacers. The other two guys on Robin's team are OG XC runners. Chad was the first finisher and Robin was 4th (I think). The rules are that all team members have to finish together. The wait for Anthony put them in second place as a team. Anthony has been injured and this was a very tough run. The winning coed team is also a group of OG XC runners.
