We had a wonderful time on the hike---no injuries and no illness. Other than being a bit sore and tired, I feel fine. I'm working on a detailed report which I will soon post. In the meantime, here is something that I posted to facebook:

Still tired from the rim to rim hike of the Grand Canyon. I am amazed that my 11 year old granddaughter was able to complete the 26 plus mile hike without much difficulty. This is especially amazing in that we went from over 8000 feet elevation down to 2000 feet and back up to 7000 feet over the course of 4 days and 3 nights and in temperatures up to 110 degrees.
