Good luck to any Pacers who are going to participate in this multi-sport event tomorrow June 28th (Don and I are taking a pass on this one, too much stuff going on right now). These races are always fun and are a great deal!

(How about it, Madame President? Time to try out that new bike!!!)

Actually, I really considered doing this one, although, I wasn't going to be competetive. I think in the future, I really would like to train and work on these kind of events. My inlaws from Atlanta decided to swoop into town, and since I went to the theatre last night, I thought I should do the "family" thing and entertain today. At some point, I am going to start training more intensely, but it's difficult when I have so many other things that I enjoy doing! I think I will quit work and become a woman of leisure and let Charles support me in the style I wish to become accustomed to.

Anyway, Sheryl, I am truly going to miss you and I hope you will stay in touch. Keep us posted on your move and you and Don's adventures.
Catch you on the run!! Audrey

Audrey:

Maybe you can shoot for Powerman next April in Birmingham (or the half distance Whistlestop held at the same time). If jobs, finances and living conditions etc. for us are settled , we hope to participate in those (Powerman for me; Powerman or Whistlestop for Don) events again next spring. Needless to say I hope it will be a warmer spring than this one was.
